I bought this unit after a little research and the high rating it was receiving in reviews. I may have gotten a dud but I brought it to my office on Friday. Used it for about 3 hours that day. Gone all weekend. Came in today, turned it on and it was working fine. After lunch I noticed that it was getting a little chilly in here and saw that the unit was off. Turned it back on and heater is not working. I went through the trouble shooting and still nothing. I called customer service and someone took my contact information. He said that someone will be back in touch with me in the next 48 hours! Even if they are helpful about returns, I want products that work. I don't want to spend my time packaging this up for shipping, taking it to UPS etc. And then I a have to start the search for a heater all over again.I knew the price was too good to be true!

I have run this all day and the temperature in my living room never got above 68 ( the room is barely 200 sq ft.) My previous (not infared) heater ( I paid $90 for) kept my living room warm enough that the thermostat for my central heat(propane) never clicked on. I think this product would work more efficently if the heating unit was under the fireplace, closer to the floor. I am contacting the manufacturer and requesting a refund/return. Although it looks just like the photo, it just doesn't heat as well as I expected. I bought this expecting it to heat better than my less expensive heater. I'm very disappointed with it.

I bought this heater to supplement the heat for a corner bedroom that gets chilly. Product was easy to assemble and works great. Just turn on, set thermostat and brightness. Fairly quiet as well. Only the front vent gets got. The top gets warm but won't burn you. The only way I see this thing starting a fire is if it somehow fell forward on its face. Only negative is some parts seem kinda cheap, like the door and legs. All in all works well though.
