Works just as shown in the picture - should include the flex. hose and would be perfect
By J. Islas
Works fine easy to install once you find the flexible gas hose that is not included, it was not an easy find but once I got it, it takes about 20 min, if you have the natural gas line installed.

Strange flame pattern.
By Tim
I wish the flame was wider (the height is fine, but it doesn't span very far). Basically, what you see in this photo is exactly what you get - 2 separate flames, one on the left and one on the right. There is some smaller flames across the front, but you really only see the 2 big flames on the opposite side. I may be overly critical since it's my fireplace, but after about 10 seconds of only seeing fire in 2 spots it starts to look pretty fake.In fairness, it's one of the cheaper log sets you can buy, so I guess I shouldn't be expecting too much. I just don't get the design idea behind only having the flames in 2 areas.
