The VF10KBLUELP is a propane fired, vent free, blue flame heater that produces 10,000 BTU's of efficient, comfortable heat. This safe, clean-burning heater has a low-high heat control, low oxygen shut off sensor and burns 99.9% efficient. This unit does not require electricity and is easily installed as a wall mount unit or as a free standing unit with the included feet kit. This CSA certified heater will heat up to 300 square feet and comes with a limited two year warranty.. Cannot ship to Massachusetts, California or Canada

Purchased this product last year. It worked fine for about 6 weeks. Then it started shutting itself off. I tried 2 or 3 times to contact the company and never received a reply. Started trying to use it again this year. It worked for about 2 weeks then it started the same old stuff again. Read thru the manual, followed the instructions exactly. Still it doesn't work right. Still can't get anyone to return my messages. If you get one, I hope it works for you, cause if it doesn't, you're just screwed. There is NO customer support. I'll never buy another product from this company and will tell anyone I know not to either.

This review applies to lots of Mr. Heater products.I have owned 3 Mr. Heater products for several years now: a Portable Buddy and two Big Buddies. Initially I had the same frustrating issues with them. After a period of use, they would not stay lit. After contacting the company and getting a replacement regulator for one of the units, I came to understand a few things that are necessary for their proper operation:1. Propane contains a bit of oil that will eventually clog the regulator and render it inoperative.2. The black supply line that I bought reacts with the oil and/or propane, creating an even bigger mess.3. There is a green supply line available from Mr. Heater that does not react with the oil/gas.4. The problem is nearly eliminated by just following the instructions in the operating manual:"To shut off heater, shut off propane at supply tank, allow heater to use-up propane in supply line until heater shuts off, then slightly push down and turn Control Knob clockwise to "OFF" position."and:"Mr. Heater strongly recommends using disposable fuel filter F273699 to trap any oil substances when connected to a remote cylinder that can make heater inoperable."Since I began using the green supply line along with a filter, and always allow the supply line to depressurize by shutting the gas off at the cylinder, I have had zero problems.For safety, I purchased a CO monitor with a digital readout. In addition to depleting the oxygen in the room, these heaters do produce a bit of carbon monoxide, as verified by the monitor. I warm up my RV quickly in the mornings with the Big Buddy, but I do not run it at night.Radiant heat (or blue flame) is a very efficient source of heat.I am a big fan of Mr. Heater products. Just understand that you have to read the manual and take a few precautions. If you're going to use a 20-pound propane cylinder (or such), purchase a filter and a green supply line along with your product, and enjoy!

I ordered this as a secondary heater for a back room in my house. It's working wonderful and every thing I hoped it would be.
